This was recorded in 1979, except for the last 3 tracks. This post-punk band was often described as a cross between Roxy Music, XTC and Killing Joke and I think a bit of the Kravats. But maybe that's subliminal because the instant classic "Puppet life" came out on the great Small Wonder label. Probably not the first band that comes to mind but another treasure in punk rock history!

read about the band in Sounds back in the late 70s, heard one song on the John Peel BBC Worldwide show (on short wave, no less) and finally I managed to listen to the whole album! It took 30 years! thanks!

This has made my year/decade. I've been looking for this on and off since 1985 when I had to leave my vinyl copy behind in Cape Town to emigrate here.

This has been uploaded at 160 kbs and is therefore of poor quality and of no use to me. It also doesn’t present the album in the best possible light to anyone who downloads it. If you have uploaded it can you reupload at a higher bit rate – many sites now use 256 or 320 kbs as standard. Anything less than 192 kbs is of no at all use in this day and age. If you didn’t upload it please accept my apologies.
