This CD/LP is a great collection of songs and rare punk. Not a bad track on here and downloadable if for nothing else but The Dogs "Slash Your Face" as well as The Authorities "I Hate Cops". A good place to start if you're just now getting into the underbelly of all things that were and are punk rock, ugly, raw, nihilistic and inspirational. Anti Airplay. Here's a real motley crew of bands that never got paid their dues, as The Mad say, "I Hate Music".

The one that started it all! Can't pick a single winner. You guys made me laugh with "File Under: Record Collectors Are Rich Capitalist Pigs" ha ha :D. I think most of the big collectors around filled up their collections when the records where cheap. Instead of spending the money on beer they spent it on records. Then all of a sudden comes eBay and if you take a closer look at it it's just records circle around in a small group. Ok, maybe the japanese collectors are in a different league. But what if there weren't any collectors around? Thank god there are some around that rip their vinyl and makes it available for free.
Every once in a blue moon I google "I Hate Music" to see what someone says after ALL THESE YEARS.
I wrote that song (if you could even describe it as writing!)
I've not made a cent nor gotten any accolades for it, that's for sure. I'm glad people are still enjoying it, which they seem to do.
I wanted to prove that a chick could play harder and meaner than any guy and perhaps, just perhaps, I proved that. Not that you see many women doing it today. Too bad.

Thanks for writing a classic song! It's a small world, a couple of us here happen to be good friends with George (Screamin' Mad George) and have known him for several years in Los Angeles. He actually gave one of us a copy of the cd that got reissued.
Truly incredible material and band you were involved with. Much respect and please let us know if there is anything else you've released or if there's any other music you could turn us onto, as we're all big fans of your work.
