FEAR, Paradise Studio 1978. These demos document the genius Lee Ving and his brother Spit Stix laying down some heavy punk rock blues. As noted in the previous post, FEAR have a special place in our hearts. Even though these recordings would never surface commercially, tape traders and bootleggers worldwide were clamoring to get their hands on these tapes. 30 years later, now you can hear why.

thanx, you dont happen to have a good version of Mengele do you, and not the 2000 something version, I have it from that new wave show that used to be on in the 80s, whatever it was called, but would love a better quality version

Your copy is missing a song. My version has I am a doctor from more beer on it... only it's called rock doktor.
The demo = 2X better than the more beer version.
this was one side of a an old bootleg LP "Living With Fear" but even as mp3s this is way better sound.
I don't know if it's from 78 though? details please!!!
also, these are old, but very very informative. NOTHING sounds like early Fear, these guys could really play.

note in Derf interview he talks about a load of songs not written by Lee Ving that got dropped....
From what I know, that's why there are a bunch of killer songs on here NOT on The Record LP.
What a cock.
Now can we have this as FLAC please!!
The new bootleg LP that collects these songs sounds MUCH better than the older bootleg LP with these songs (I forget the name of that one off-hand).
